Dont let the rain blur your vision…
This Chevy Nova really stood out to me at a Cafe Octane meet up.
This is an image I took last year at a company gathering, this man quickly pause for a snap allowing me to capture this amazing photo. I title this image “A Wrinkle in Time”, throughout my childhood I grew up without the presence of any of my grandparents really being their besides the first couple of years of my life. As time passed by and I grew older I began to realize the knowledge and stories behind the wrinkles. I challenge you the reader to take some time and meet someone of age and have a sit-down conversation for about 15 minutes. Most of them are filled with wonderful stories, experiences, knowledge that is just sitting there waiting to be told.
Life in a ranch,
This past July me and my family got an opportunity to experience Life in a ranch. My lovely spouse, myself and my two hyper-active wonderful children headed down south to Ocala Florida. We got the experience of a lifetime that will remain locked in our special memory bank. The invitation came from my wife family who absolutely love the city of Ocala. They showed us around the city and took us on some neat nearby attractions. We did all sort of adventurous activities, such as swimming in the chilled clear water in Rainbow Springs Park, or riding down the hills and rocks of Santos Trails on our mountain bikes, and ending it with some delicious homemade southern dishes.
Throughout our time visiting I manage to capture some very eye opening images that I have decided to share with you all. This fellow was very shy and seem to not want to interact with anyone, but he sure stayed still for this photo. We also got the opportunity to fly the DJI Phantom 3 drone above the 50 plus acres of land while capturing the spectacular view of the horses galloping across the fields.
This photo was taken a the right moment. This is the same horse that was very timid and ended up being our model for the day. This photo really got me to see a horse in a different way I have never seen them. This creature is a beauty to humanity and has been used for many centuries as our means of transportation.
(Above) A photo of my daughter attempting to pet the horse, the innocence of children amazed me that they lack fear of any animal creature big or small.
(Below) I missed the focus on the horse, not knowing that it will still create an amazing shot!
We have forgotten to laugh! We have forgotten to be at peace, to be happy, and to be free. Nowadays, our days are filled with plans about our careers, goals, achievements, and even how to pay the debts that we got our self into. And while all of these are very important we cannot allow them consume us. It is essential to stop and breath, to pause and meditate, to press on the breaks and laugh! On our journey to reach these goals we run into all sort of moments: happy, sad, accomplishments, disappointing, and even angry moments. I have a secret tool to overcome these moments. When this occurs let’s release the secret weapon, “Laughter.” According to Health Guide laughter is “the best medicine” that we can have to be able to face day to day challenges. It helps with stressed moments.
I have noticed throughout the past four years, while working in Property Management,s that we can easily fall into “Auto Pilot” or “Tunnel Vision.” We get so caught up with what the world wants from us and the things we need to do that we forget what’s most important – to laugh! So let us heal, let us be at peace, let us be happy, let us laugh!
-Below are my 5 reasons why laughing is important
